About Gina Samantha…

Gina grew up in central Massachusetts with loving parents, a big, crazy family, a love of dogs, and lots of dance classes and voice lessons! With dance and theater comes stage hair and makeup, which she learned at a very young age (thanks to her mom, Sheila'’s lack of interest or knowledge of makeup, and French braids tight enough to make a seven year old look like she’d had a facelift!) While she competed and performed in various locations, which were all interesting in their own right, her favorite place to dance or sing was always Walt Disney World. It was a huge part of family traditions and happy childhood memories.

She moved with her parents and younger brother to Concord, NH at 17. She attended one year of high school there, graduated, and moved back to MA as quickly as possible. She spent three years living down there, teaching dance and nannying before deciding to move back to NH to be near her parents. That’s also when she decided, after a year of studying small business administration at a local college, that beauty school was where she was meant to be!

She graduated from Empire Beauty School in Laconia, NH and then worked at a lovely little salon on Newfound Lake, where her boss and colleagues were excellent mentors and friends who supported her dream of moving to NYC to do hair and makeup in the city. Since then, she has worked and trained with artists throughout New England and New York.

She currently lives with her husband, two children, and their Chiweenie, Slinky-Dog, and shares co-guardianship of her nieces and nephew with her dad, Glenn. She is thankful to have been brought up by family oriented, devoted parents who taught her to put God and family first. She’s also incredibly thankful to have found a career that allows her to continue to do just that, while also bringing beauty and joy to others.

Gina has been a certified wedding and event planner/coordinator since 2016.

She’s been a licensed cosmetology instructor since 2017 and a certified MUD makeup educator since 2021.

She launched a professional coaching and consulting program, and personalized planners and journals in 2021.

In early 2023, she because a travel agent with DizN Vacations at CS Elements Travel, specializing in all things Disney and Universal (completing Disney’s College of Knowledge and Universal’s Universal & You).

Gina has trained with Sam Villa, Patrick Cameron, Carol Woodard, Antonio Prieto, Carly Zanoni, Inspiring Champions, Anthony Robbins, Pivot Point, Penn Foster, MUD (Makeup Designory), Tigi/Beadhead Makeup, Mirabella, SugarlashPro, Repêchage, Plantogen, All Nutrient, Joico, Matrix, Redken, L’Oreal Professional, Wella, Goldwell, Oligo, Keratin Complex, Coppola, NeoExtensions/HairTreats, Aquage, Deva Curl, Bumble & Bumble, Kenra, Kerastase, Paul Mitchell, Olaplex, Barbicide, and many other industry professionals.
